About the University

Sari Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University was established in 1973 as the Higher School of Agricultural Engineering. It began its educational activities with three academic disciplines: General Agriculture, Forestry & Rangeland, and Animal Science. In 1979, following the integration of several educational institutions and approval by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, it became one of the founding units of the University of Mazandaran.
